enable a pain-free life again. One of the most common reasons for an artificial hip joint is hip osteoarthritis, which can occur with age. When sitting, it is also important to ensure an optimal, ergonomic sitting position. Special wedge pillows can help with this.<\/p>\n<p>There are some things you should refrain from doing after having an artificial hip joint implanted. This is related to the weakened musculature in the area of the hip and also the thighs. Avoid crossing your legs in the early days. You should also use a shoehorn when putting on shoes after surgery. Excessive bending movements of the hip could have a negative effect.
